Audio editing

We use Audacity to create an audio file.
First, download a music file from a free music website (for example, Jamendo).
Then, edit this file with Audacity (apply effects).
Next, add to the project a track with a recording of your own voice; apply the necessary effects (normalize and noise removal) to improve the sound quality.
Export this project to an mp3 file.
Explain all of the above work in a text document (insert as many screen shots as you consider necessary).
Finally, send this work in an email to the usual address with two attached files:
  1. the mp3 file (don't send the project files)
  2. the text document with the explanations

Information units

As we saw in class, the smallest unit is the bit (b). 8 b = 1 byte (B).

Multipliers:
1 024 B = 1 kB
1 024 kB = 1 MB
1 024 MB = 1 GB
1 024 GB =  1 TB

(for quick calculations we can use 1 000 instead of 1 024)

Solve the following problem:
Calculate the time (in hours) that will take to download a 7.2 GB file if we are using a line with a 8 Mbps speed. Simplify the calculations using 1 000 as multiplier.
Important: write all the operations needed to get the final result.
