Collaborative work

Imagine that you work for a travel agency and you are offering an end of ESO trip to a school. Prepare the following three documents (in Google Docs):

  • a text document, addressed to the parents, with the basic information (price per student, dates, buses to/from the airport, etc.)
  • a spreadsheet with the calculations for the final price; you have to include, at least, five basic formulas and a percentage.
  • a presentation for the students, with all the places to visit and the programmed activities.

This work will be made in groups of 2 or 3 students (one will be the owner of the document, the rest can edit).
Send also an invitation to edit to inforsanjuan@gmail.com.

Answer the following questions:

  1. If the United States had a national typeface, could  it be the Highway Gothic? Why?
  2. The new Canadian typography unites the Latin characters of French and English. Why does the article mention these two languages?
  3. When was the first Latin character typeface created in Canada? Why was it transformed in the late 1990s?
